Thanks to the generosity of some friends - thanks Robert! - Andrew and I got treated to an intense game at the Pit!
It was a very nice stadium and very easy to get to.
I understand why they call it the Pit. Every seat looked down to the court at a pretty steep angle. It seemed like a pretty intimidating place for a visiting team to play. It's pretty ironic too that the Pit is at an elevation of 5,213. I loved the psychological mind games they played as the opening theme emphasized that at this elevation visiting teams can experience dizziness, fatigue, an elevated pulse, etc.
It was a fun game as the Lobos blew away the #11 ranked UNLV Running Rebs. And we got free Lobos sticks too! Everybody wins.
