We got another rabbit today because we felt sorry for Poofy our rabbit being alone for so much of the day. We don't know if "Thunder" is a boy or girl. I guess we'll find out in time but the boys are really hoping it's a boy. They are actually from the same parents but different litters. Hopefully they will learn to get along soon.

This is Andrew with the new cast he got last week. This is the last cast he will hopefully have to have. In 2 weeks he will go back to the Dr. and if he's OK, he won't need another cast. If so, he will have one LAST cast. We're praying he's all healed after this one. Peter and I have been sick with some bacterial infection for a while but we are now both doing MUCH better.
This was a great community event and we hope to go to it again next year. Benicia is a great little city so far!

When we moved from ABQ we sold all our bikes because we didn't know if where we would be moving to would have a place to store them. Last Saturday we got a great deal on 2 awesome used bikes so once again all the kids have bikes. In order to celebrate Peter decided to take the kids out for a bike ride on their new bikes Sunday. Andrew was riding ahead of everyone and looked back to see how far behind Matt was. At that moment his tired hit a curb and the bike and Andrew went down. His arm had been broken. Yesterday he had his bone pushed back into place and a temporary cast put on. We will find out in the next week or two if he needs surgery on his elbow but we are praying he won't need it. He will have a more permanent cast put on next week after the swelling on his arm goes down.

Here is Andrew's latest memory verse.
13 Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.

Andrew's basketball season finished up last night. I must say that I am very, very proud of Andrew. This year's league was much more competitive than anything he's every played in. And some of the boys and adults in this league were very competitive, even rough and lacking in self-control. But despite that, Andrew was calm, played his best against older, faster and stronger competition, and had a great attitude when others were complaining and disrespecting the referees. He always seemed to have a small on his face even when he got hacked or shoved or even yelled at by other kids. Great job Andrew!
