In April, we planted 25 strawberry plants. They didn't look very impressive as you can see.

But with some watering, some weeding and lots of spring sunshine, they grew.

We harvest our first crop of strawberries. We had heard that you're not supposed to eat the first crop, but we couldn't hold ourselves back! I wish I could say that they were sweet and succulent, but alas, they were a tad tart. Hopefully, next year, they will be different.

We've also been busy with some tree trimming,

some flower (peonies) arranging,

and the occasional picnic! It's summer, right?
