Oh the weather outside is...

FRIGHTFUL! The high today was 13 degrees. That's right, the HIGH was 13. Right now, the temperature is 6 with a wind chill factor of -6. The low tonight is going to be around -1. It makes me feel better that tonight's low is a near record low temperature so this is not normal.

This morning, Matt busted into our room with a very urgent tone in his voice, "Dad!"
Me: Yes. (wondering if someone was bleeding or if possibly the house was on fire)
Matt: Dad, come look! Look at all the snow! It's covering the ground!
It snowed last night a couple of inches. To me, it was just snow. But to this 4 year-old boy, God had done a miracle. Despite the temperature, the kids HAD to go out into the snow. Does that snow suit on Emery look familiar? Sandy wasn't about to go outside with those temperatures. But she managed to be a part of the fun...sort of.
