Track Part 2

Andrew ended his first season of track about 3 months ago. But it ended well.

He flexed his muscles and ran a 5:49 mile. That's right, 5 minutes, 49 seconds. Amazingly, that wasn't even the best 7th grade boy time on his team. BMS has some fast milers.

He did pretty well in his favorite event, the 200. He made it to invitationals and even made it to the second heat. His personal best was somewhere around 28.0. Unfortunately, his fastest time was not timed at the event.

His long jump looks good, doesn't it? Unfortunately, others jump longer than 12 feet 9 inches.

But his best race was the 4 x 100 relay. His team finished 54.0 and made a 7th grade boys' record.

What a smooth hand off!

It was a great 2015 year of track at BMS for Andrew...except for some of his crazy fans!
