Disney Part 2

One of the cool things about this trip is that we did some different things in the park that we've never done before. One of them was the Laughing Stock Company show at the Golden Horseshoe. It was a little old west interactive comedy show.
When they were looking for the meanest, toughest, roughest looking outlaw in the land, guess who they picked? That's right, the person in our family who LEAST wanted attention to himself, Matt.
He had a few lines to say. Doesn't he sound like the meanest, toughest...ah never mind.
It sure was a fun show with Matt in it!

Disneyland!

Over spring break, we decided to go to Disneyland. We knew the crowds would be bad, and it was bad. But it was still a fabulous time together.
As usual, I'm the man with a plan. And we had a good one. We started off the day at Star Tours! It was dope.
Thanks to the Disney App and Fast pass tickets, our longest wait was only 30 minutes on a day when you couldn't walk side by side because it was so crowded. Andrew's getting ready to get his permit.
The girls were in the Disney spirit with their Minnie ears.
We scheduled some much needed breaks in between all of the rides.
We ended the LONG day with some front row seats at the Main Street Electrical Parade. It was a 14 hour day at Disney. I think we got our money's worth though! Thank God for a super fun day together as a family.

Drumline

It's been pretty cool to see Matt's drumline team add on more elements to their drumline performance. Here is the final result.
It's been a great season for Matt. He had a lot of fun and did a great job with it.

Proverbs 15:3

You know, if we could just remember that God is always with us, our lives would be so much better! Whether it's remembering God's presence for comfort, for strength, for encouragement and to drive away all fears or to give us a fear of committing sin, it's always so GOOD to remember He's with us. I hope and pray that the boys and girl can keep that truth close to their hearts when they leave our home.
Proverbs 15:3
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Watching the evil and the good.

The School Board

Emery was elected to Student Council this year. They meet every other week. One of the highlights for Emery is that she will read the school announcements over the PA system for two weeks this year.
But a big honor was that she was chosen to represent her elementary school at the school Board meeting. She and her friend gave a report to the Board. Go Hounds!

The BAC

Matt officially joined the Broken Arm Club (BAC). Actually, it's more like the broken limb club to include me and my ankle. But after 2 broken arms for Andrew, Matt is officially in.
He broke it playing basketball. I told him to tell everyone that he broke it on the rim as he was dunking, but he just tells everyone that he was walking backyards and tripped. He's so humble.
When Matt was in the ER, he got some drugs for the first time. I guess Ketamine is a lot like PCP. He really enjoyed it.

Here's his wrist after it was reduced in the ER. The amazing thing about this kind of fracture in the growth plate is that it basically realigns itself on its own since Matt is still growing. God is amazing in how He created us.
He had a cast put on just 2 days after the splint. And here's his second one. Hopefully, he'll be in this one just a few more weeks.

Emery's Got Talent!

Emery's school had a talent show recently. Emery had two acts!

She opened things off with the Star Spangled Banner. It was quite the way to kick off the night!

Her second act was an ensemble with some of her friends. Unfortunately, they had some technical difficulties. This is how it started.

It was choreographed completely by the girls. Nice job Emery! So much talent!
