Luminarias
Merry Christmas Eve! Tonight, we took Uncle Sam and Charlotte to the historic section of ABQ for one of the annual traditions - lighting of the luminarias. The historic section of ABQ is the original square of the city and their are thousands of luminarias everywhere. It's pretty cool.We got there early to get a parking spot. At this point, it was just thousands of brown paper bags. But before you knew it, the sun was going down, and these beautiful glowing lamps were everywhere. It was pretty hard to capture the look and feel of it all. So for all of our non-ABQ readers, I guess you'll have to come visit us someday, and we'll show you!
